You find yourself walking down the street, and you come upon a big hole in the sidewalk..... First, you don't see the hole, you fall in, react with fear and bewilderment and frustration, you finally climb out. Second, you're walking down the same street, you don't see the hole, you fall in, react with fear, etc., but get out faster. Third, you go down same street, you don't see the hole, you fall in, then say, hey, I've been here before, there's no fear, bewilderment, or frustration, you just quickly get out. Fourth, going down same street, you see the hole, you fall in anyway, but you get out right away. Fifth, you see the hole and go around it. Sixth, you completely avoid the hole by crossing to the other side of the street. Seventh, you go down a different street. COMMENTARY: First level (perhaps chakra #1?) You only see the material…you don't look in front of you…just living, eating, shopping, making money, sleeping, fast paced…physically oriented. Second level….still reactive, but shifts to proactive quicker. Third level…recognizing a pattern, you notice something is repeating and so there's no emotion, you're comfortable, you recognize where and what has happened. No self-blame and name calling or judging. Fourth level…you pretty much see the problem coming, but, due to habit, you proceed to make the same mistake once again (if I eat that taco and drink that coke, I'll get a stomachache….so you pull up to the drive in and say, yes, I'll take a taco, and give me a coke with that… Fifth level…..you see what's up ahead and you avoid the negative experience…"Been there, done that". Sixth level…You begin to go down a new path, a new course… Seventh level…a different reality, you aren't aware of the hole, but it's O.K. now because where you're at , there are no holes. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> <><><> Some Healing Myths To Think About 1. We require a trained professional or a highly educated specialist when dealing with healing. 2. Healing takes a lot of work and requires a full commitment. 3. Understanding what went wrong or who did what is necessary for healing to take place. 4. Healing is expensive. 5. Every disease or illness can be traced to a physical cause 6. Symptoms and disease are inconvenient ''obstacles'' that need to be controlled or eliminated. 7. Healing means symptoms and disease disappear or come under control 8. If the symptoms disappear shortly after treatment, the treatment is responsible. 9. Healing means feeling better. 10. A sick person may be too far gone to heal. 11. Healing is predictable in its course. 12. Healing takes time. 13. Healing often requires drastic measures. 14. Disease is a judgment for my sins. 15. Profound new awareness is necessary in order to heal. 16. People who are ''enlightened'' do not experience disease. 17. Being highly evolved means no longer having negative emotions. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> <><><> I am not responsible for creating my external reality. I am responsible for only the internal state of my mind, emotion, and vibration. I am responsible for focusing my attention on my inner environment in relationship to my life circumstances. It is my gift to become aware of the state of tension, pain, in my body/mind, and to accept my experiences ................pleasant or unpleasant, ...............with non-judgment and love, ...............I must forgive in order to heal. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><<><><><><><><><><><<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> <><><> Lord's Prayer Translated Directly From Aramaic O cosmic Birther of all radiance and vibration! Soften the ground of our being and carve out a space within us where your Presence can abide. Fill us with your creativity so that we may be empowered to bear the fruit of our mission. Let each of our actions bear fruit in accordance with our desire. Endow us with the wisdom to produce and share what each being needs to grow and flourish. Untie the tangled threads of destiny that bind us, as we release others from the entanglement of past mistakes. Do not let us be seduced by that which would divert us from our true purpose, but illuminate the opportunities of the present moment. For you are the ground and the fruitful vision, the birth power and the fulfillment, as all is gathered and made whole once again. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> <><><> The Gifts A little girl makes a very special wish on her birthday. She wishes she could meet God some day. That night she dreams that she gets to go to Heaven(just for a visit) and she meets God. God says, "Let me show you something." God takes her hand and leads her to a giant building, the size of a football field. It's stacked to the ceiling with thousands and thousands of boxes and packages that have all been gift wrapped. God then leads the little girl to several other buildings just like the first. Finally, the little girl asks God what are all these packages for? God says, "These are all the gifts that people asked me for, but never took……. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> <><><> When we act like the Light, we experience the Light! You can't see past the choices you don't understand. You are either at the source, or in the game. The heart makes the invisible visible. Choice is an illusion created by those with power and those with out. 'It ain't what you DON'T know that gets you into trouble, it's what you know for sure that just ain't so. Twain It is when everybody's pipes are leaking that people buy books on plumbing. We accept the program if we feel that there's a choice. We tend to covet what we see every day. One of the signposts of spiritual enlightenment & high intelligence is the discovery & acknowledgment that there is more than one way to get to Hoboken. Very few people seem to realize that you can't gather all the necessary information on a topic by watching a 60 sec. interview on television or a 60 sec. sound byte on the radio. Mundus vult decipi (the world wants to be deceived) There is nothing that diffuses the power of staged events more than pre-knowledge of their coming and the reaction they are seeking to elicit. Life is a canvas on which we paint our reality. The canvas is all possibility and the brush and pallet are called 'belief'........Beliefs are the bars on the jail cell that imprisons you in the world of illusion. We can`t see ourselves as long as there`s fear We can`t see ourselves by a glance in the mirror For a clear picture we must look from above To see who we are, we must all look with love. Tell people something they know already and they will thank you for it. Tell them something new and they will hate you for it. The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum. Nostradamus said: "A fulfilled prophecy is a failed prophecy". To see what’s in front of you, you must first see what’s within you. To the extent you judge anything is to the extent that to understand what you’ve judged, you must experience and feel that which you’ve judged…including all the drama, pain and suffering. It’s easier to accept the person you already are, than to try to be the person you want to be. People will tend to forget what you've said, and maybe even forget what you've done, but people will never forget how you made them feel. The need to blame or the desire to see others to get punished, or "get theirs" opens you up to the need or belief that you must "forgive' yourself for healing, because no one is perfect, therefore you subconsciously want to see YOURSELF punished. Why do we even need to discuss forgiveness? Could it be that it's because we want to blame? To see people punished? Consider all of this in light of the theory that the universe is some how dispassionate, not compassionate…that the universe is constantly, from moment to moment , re-arranging itself to accommodate your picture of reality. What you believe is what you get. If you have the belief that you "need forgiveness", then you will "attract" punishment. "Why, of course, the people don’t want war.... Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally, the common people don’t want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship.... Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country. " Hermann Goering, founder of the Gestapo "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither safety nor liberty." - Ben Franklin "Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine will be organized into an undercover dictatorship. To restrict the art of healing to one class and to deny equal privileges to others will constitute the Bastille of medical science. All such laws are un-American and despotic and have no place in a Republic. The Constitution should make special privilege for medical freedom as well as religious freedom." Benjamin Rush, physician, signer of the Declaration of Independence
representations of "reality" we take to be "facts." We value what we "know" to be "true," and may argue or even fight to keep our convictions intact. We are human, and paradoxically, intelligent but not "dumb" enough to be wise. Like monkeys, we are capable of fighting over bananas . . . unlike monkeys who will only do so when there are some. Severen L. Schaeffer
tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea." Antoine de Saint-Exupery "For we are opposed, around the world, by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy..." John F. Kennedy
dissipation and distraction. "Hell" is forgetting who you are. Knowing WHO you really are, seeing reality as it REALLY is, and coming to an understanding and an acceptance of your relationship to the world is the most important thing you could ever do in this lifetime.
‘keeping someone else in his place’ may be the emotional rationale; ‘supporting the police’ may be the civic slogan; ‘ending violence’ may be the dream — but the nightmare of reality is total tyranny of the state.” Morgan Norval |
